The Latest Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu “SOLARHU” Pack is Finally Here

Following the reveal of their East African weaving-inspired colourways, adidas Originals and Pharrell Williams have teamed up yet again to bring us the latest Hu NMD pack. The recent sneaker collaboration became available to customers worldwide on November 10th. The design was a part of the Fall/Winter 2018 SOLARHU pack and comes in four different colourways: Cloud White, Core Black, Powder Blue and Clear Sky Blue. Each colourway features a geometric multi-coloured print along the collar of the shoe. This cool touch is designed to evoke traditional East African weaving techniques, a theme that runs throughout their most recent collab.

The Hu NMD also features Chinese characters for “Empower” and “Inspire” on the primeknit upper, showcasing Pharrell’s motivational nature. The Saturday release was also accompanied by an apparel capsule collection that was made available to customers via the official adidas web-store and in select retailers. The apparel featured powerful textures, clashing colourways, and incredible patterned detailing. Pharrell and adidas have also incorporated bold chest and back graphics into the tops and jackets.

This latest collaborative effort is certainly among the dopest that we have seen from Pharrell’s and adidas’ ever-popular partnership. The new sneaker was created with the musician’s intention to spread the power of humanity. With a retail value of $250, this latest design incorporates hues of bright colours and uppers that are combined with contrasting and complimentary tones. Pharrell’s continuous experimentation with prints and textures is expressed in this iteration of his now iconic Hu NMD, making it an awesome addition to the Hu series and a must-have for all the sneakerheads out there.
